Neglecting Kate

Poor Kate has been a bit left out recently, looking back though I can see how it may have slipped the blogging world. so busy!! Just as I thought I was catching up too.

This was my poorly week, hardly any blogging happened here.. onto week 10.

Week 10 was full of jobs, catching up jobs, cleaning jobs, sorting & tidying jobs and this is why...

We have decided it's time to make the next step, I will be sad to say goodbye as we have been here nearly 9 years. Both kiddies arrived here and my blogging journey started in this house too. Lot's of memories!

Onto week 11, A handful of birthday's, a for sale sign, a viewing, red nose day and mother's day.. my goodness what rollercoaster of a week.

I will be back with the next episode soon.

Easter ideas

I've lost a couple of hours this evening browsing Pinterest, how does that happen? It happens too frequently for me.

I started to look at Easter ideas, I have just over two weeks off with Adam and Emily for the school holidays and was trying to do a bit of planning but I got sidetracked by all the gorgeous pins!!

I want to share a board with you that I have created, just in case you are looking for other forms of Easter inspiration. {click on the pictures to take you direct to the source}

I'm still playing catch up after my week of being poorly, it's amazing how much it sets you back isn't it? Thank you for all your amazing comments about my new Minc machine, I found this video clip of how it works if you are wondering and haven't seen it before.

Cuteness isn't it??

Ok, onto Project Life week 9....

My yuk week! Feeling poorly but getting a new crafting toy to cheer me up! Proud Mummy moment with Emily's handwriting, one scrapbook page.

The beginning of March, a football team photo, Adam wearing Daddy's work jacket, ballet clothes to watch tv and TWO workers of the week!! SO, SO proud!!

Look at those superstars!

So, now I feel kind off back on track and I have week 10 PL to share, my New York Album and some more scrapbooking!!

Me on a Monday

It's a normal kind of Monday, School runs and work kind of day. A feeling very tired because the weekend was so awesome kind of day.

Next week is Steve's Birthday and so I planned a weekend away as an early present.

We took the highspeed to St Pancreas International and then checked into our hotel, once unpacked we went to have a look at the skylounge bar our hotel has. It was such a lovely sunny day!

I particularly love this picture of the shard with the sun shinning!

We went out for dinner and a cabaret show on the Friday night - sadly no pictures of that as it was too dark and I couldn't get my flash on my camera phone to compliment anything!

On Saturday morning we were up early and walked along London Bridge towards the Shard - our first stop!

The views were amazing and as it was a gorgeous day we got some lovely pictures.

Including a shard selfie!!

I like this picture too, I was experimenting with different views, the above picture was taken from above my head and the picture below was taken once we got back outside and looked above our heads.

After the shard, we walked along the river and got a few pics of Tower Bridge.. that was our next port of call. We walked along it to get to the next exciting thing.

Afternoon tea at the Tower Hotel! It was amazing and this was our gorgeous view!

Look at that scrummy afternoon tea!

After our tummies were fit to burst we went for a long walk and stop to have a wander in Covent garden before heading to regent street. We were wandering closer to our final stop on Saturday before Dinner....

Yes, the icy cold Ice bar!!

40 minutes is defintely enough time in there, my hands and lips were so cold when we came out!

This is the bar tender wrapped up making our drinks.

Look at all of those ice glasses!

The pretty lights of London from our hotel, we went out for dinner Saturday night and then crashed back at the hotel after all of the walking! We didn't really do much Sunday, we went for a walk in Trinity Gardens and sat in the sun looking at the view of the Tower of London before we came home.

How was your weekend?

Time to share!

Happy Saturday! I'm blogging from the past again just to confuse things!

Remember this post? Where I showed you a brown box but didn't share the contents?? Well, it's time to share...no more guessing!

You have probably seen one of these gorgeous machines before, if you haven't it's the beautiful Heidi Swapp Minc Machine.

It makes things super shiny and pretty.... swoon!
♥ ♥ ♥

Wanna see??

How beautiful are they? You start off with a tag/diecut that has a black pattern on it and all the black toner patterns turn into the lovely shiny colour you have chosen... and there are many colours!

The heart above got a bit scratched as it was my first go and I think I mispalced the foil.

This has to be one of my favourites though, I can't wait to use it on a page.

Project Life.. A bit late!

Good evening! My first post in March! I seem to have lost a few evenings this week but I will fill you in more on that another day. Today I'm going to catch up with Project Life Week 8.

The sun is shining more now and everything is looking brighter and prettier so I went with a brighter colour scheme this week to reflect that. This was half term week and included a trip to Dobbies, some scrapbooking and Pancake Day!!

This week also saw some outdoor play, a dentist trip and a dusting of snow! I love these colours, I really want to includ more of them so I am going to raid my stash later!!

What is your favourite colour scheme?
