Frozen {in May}

Emily is going to be 5 this year, yes 5! We have been talking to Emily about what she would like to do for her birthday this year and without hesitation my little frozen obsessed princess decided that a Frozen themed party would be the best thing ever!!

Lots of ideas have been floating around in my head but first I needed to get the invitations out! So Emily helped me make these beauts...

Invitations fit for Queen Elsa herself! First I printed out the party information onto some icy blue card, I cut the printed cards into circles and then set about applying versamark clear to the edge of each one. I dipped them into some transparent with silver glitter embossing powder and fixed them with my heat gun {haven't embossed for ages, I had so much fun}.

Each sparkly disc was then applied to a large foam snowflake and had some adhesive pearls added.

I took another large foam snowflake and glued a wooden kebab skewer in place, once that was dry I used pop dots to fix the two snowflakes together.

All that was left was to add pretty ribbons to the base of the snowflake, some adhesive gems and add some small sequin snowflakes. Ta da!

Emily then had the job of handing them out to her fellow princesses!

♥ ♥ ♥

Oh my goodness, I've just noticed this is my 600th post! Wowzers!!

Happy Sunday!!!
Speak soon.

They are wonderful! I know a bigger girl here who would still be happy to hand those out to friends. And I can't wait to see if the invitations are a taster for more Frozen treats to come
