**Time for a bit of papercraft**

Another blog I follow is Studio Calico, I have been working on my wedding album over the last couple of months {which is something I will share soon} and as soon as I saw this I knew I wanted to scraplift it.

I started by marking out a grid on the back of a piece of 12x12 kraft cardstock...

then I used my Martha Stewart butterfly punch to line up and cut out butterflies

I inked the edges of the cardstock with a brown ink pad..

and used foam pads {a lot of foam pads} to give the cardstock a raised look

and stuck it to a silvery white piece of 12x12 cardstock.

Once stuck together, I started layering scraps of PP under the photograph.

It was then ready for embellishment and a title...

Plus a few little bits that appear through my wedding album.

To make this!

I would love to see your take on this if you fancy scraplifting the original or mine?
Don't forget to leave a comment with a link to your blog so I can take a look!
Bye for now!

What a fantastic layout Rachel - I really like the idea of punching out a shape to make a background. Will have to try that soon.
