**Storytelling sunday: Pick your precious**

The small people were not interested in going outside for the last batch of snow in March so instead we stayed inside and made cardboard houses for Ted and Peppa Pig!
This is Ted and his house:

Ted has been in the 'B' household for almost 5 years, he arrived in a box with a balloon when Adam was born and sat untouched on Adam's shelf for about 3 years until one day an excited little boy spotted him.

The bond was instant and Adam soon discovered a special lady had brought this special bear for a very special little boy. Soon this smartly dressed little teddy became 'Ted' {named by Adam, no link to the actual film if you have seen it!}

Ted goes everywhere with Adam, he sits on the sink when he does his teeth and guards Adam's cereal bowl when he eats breakfast.. Ted even waits for Adam in his schoolbag when he is at nursery.

Sometimes Ted sleeps in his cardboard house on his cardboard bed with his blanket knitted for him by mummy....

...but most of the time Ted sleeps on a small pillow next to Adam. They both have story time, a squeezy cuddle and a goodnight kiss.

This little story is a part of Sians Storytelling Sunday 3, pop over to read more or just say Hi...
Bye for now

What a wonderful story - I shared something similar about my now grown-up boy and his special friend George.

How lovely is this? That's one very smart house by the looks of things! and it's so good to have those photos..I have a couple of pictures of me when I was little with my bear and they are my favourites. These are going to be wonderful to look back on in years to come.

It's so good to see you back and joining in today. Thank you :)

Oh Rachel he reminds me so much of my lovely old bear, well the sentiment anyway. My cousin Deb gave him to me when I was about 6 years old when she came to stay, he'd been hers since she was a baby and she must have been 16. I still have Pooh and he has had many new pairs of trousers and adventures moving around with me.

Oh that is such a lovely story and the LO to go with it is delightful. I still have my son's Bramwell Brown - he is extremely precious to me now. J

What a lovely post and that house is so sweet. Those days seem so long ago for my two and like yesterday all at once!

What a wonderful story and a beautiful layout! My daughter had a teddy named Smoosh, and by the time she graduated from college, there wasn't much left of him. We tried (at her request) to have him repaired, but couldn't find anyone to do it. I wish I had been an everyday photographer then. I'm not sure there's even one photo of him.
