*Belated JYC - Part Four... and a bit of knitting*

My mum brought me some new wellies for Christmas and so I got the knitting needles out and made myself some wellie boot liners.....

I used chunky yarn so they are very thick and warm!

Just right for this chilly weather!!

I promise I won't share my JYC for long! I think maybe two more posts at the most!
Here are days 20-27......

I have some journaling to do and put in this envelope page......

It snowed last night and Adam couldn't wait to go and play in it, he requested that we make Gordon the train instead of a snowman!!! We now have one in the front garden and one in the back garden!

I'm off to warm my toes!!
Bye for now

I really like those boot liners - fabulous.

Your JYC album is turning out wonderful - the papers you're using are so festive.

Well, what lovely pages you made, Rachel! I love your "List" page and also the one with the Stocking vs Sack story. We settled for a stocking on the end of the bed (in fact, we have a duplicate, so it's easy to fill one, then do a swap once the Boy is sleeping), with little items inside - always an orange, a net of chocolate coins (once he was big enough not to scoff the lot and be sick!), or a couple of sweets, a few small toys to keep him busy and amused for a little while - absolutely invaluable for managing an extra little bit of sleep on Christmas Morning! He was allowed to open his stocking (once he was big enough, there was a "once the clock hands show x time" proviso)and he was allowed to eat a couple of sweets and play with his toys (sometimes we took things out of their packaging, so he wouldn't have any trouble - after all, he would believe they were from Santa, so wouldn't expect packaging!).
Then the "big presents" were downstairs, by the tree - and next to the crumbs left by "Santa and the Reindeer"! It's always worked so well for us!

Don't worry about how long it takes - you just keep sharing that JYC. Great cable knitting, but won't your toes get cold??????

The boot liners are gorgeous - what perfect cabling! I gave a couple of pairs of these as Christmas gifts and now I see that handmade ones would have been extra specially nice

What a fab idea to line your welly boots to keep you warm. And I love your xmas journal and how co-ordinated it is :)
