A sweet surprise ♥

I am working my way through my 2011 calendar *yes I know it's a tad late!* I have completed Jan through to June, August and I am currently working on September. I've missed out July because I need to re-print a photo - Steve's head was cropped out without my permission! *silly printer*

It's so quiet here, I am in my craft room while the rest of the house sleeps and all I can hear is the humming of the computer and the tapping of the keyboard! Such bliss! (Not that I don't enjoy normal everyday life but isn't it nice to get a couple of hours where it is so quiet that you can literally hear the cogs in your brain working? Nope? Just me? I think I need to go to the Doctors then!)

Now enough nonsense, it's.........

I love it when kiddies (of all ages) have a funny 15 minutes and proudly entertain the grown ups with mad antics! Adam decided that he would have a funny 30 minutes with Steve's swimming goggles!
(check out the lovely fingerprints he put all over them, I'm surprised he could see!) He had them off, on, on the top of his head, dangling off of his ears and on his nose! This was one of my favourite pictures I managed to snap through the tears of laughter:

Adam is a real jokester, even though he is only 2 (nearly 2 and a half, that's important to kids - right?) he already has a wonderful sense of humour and you can  just tell he is going to be even funnier when he is older but there is also a very cute, snugly and sweet side to him (where he is only 2....and a bit!) When I went into my craft room this afternoon to pick up my camera I found these individuals guarding my chair:

Adam loves these two and the fact that he left  them there is rather cute as they normally (now) do not move from his bed.......I wonder what he was thinking about when he left them there!

......Actually please stay, I promised to try and remain calm, although it may get the better of me!

I am super super excited *slowly sitting back down in the chair* as I have booked to go on a scrapagogo day!!! It's not a retreat as I need to save up muchos pennies for that one!!! It's a day where I can shop, meet fellow scrapagogons, receive a goodie bag, eat, laugh and CROP!!! *jumping up and down now!*

I can also book to attend classes nearer the time if I so choose or should I say if we so choose as VJ is going too! *OK, peeling myself off of the ceiling now! Calm down Rachel!*

You may think my excitement is a bit extreme but until November I had never been to a crop and this is a super crop!

147 days to go!

Phew I need to go and rest after that post!

Night all

Your little Adam is adorable, Rachel. My brother, Ron, was the same was as a little boy - always doing something zany to make us laugh, and as an adult he is the funniest person I know. What a wonderful gift to be blessed with.

And very cool news about your crop! How fun to have something like that to look forward to! xo

I love the stuffed animals in the chair! Once when I was visiting my sister, I woke up to find that my nieces had put about five stuffed animals "sleeping" on each side of me! I guess they wanted to be sure I didn't get lonely.

Oh, that is exciting!! I'd love to do that :-) I'm now counting down the days to my TIM HOLTZ WORKSHOP WOOOO HOOOOO!!!! (Sorry, got a tad distracted.....) It's the first time I've ever done anything like this, so I'm really hyper about it too - but I'm guessing it's going to get addictive, and I'll be pestering family for more classes for birthday and Christmas gifts!
