After a two-year patient wait, the kitchen has been plastered! Today the finishing touches were added and now we have to wait (only three days this time!) to paint it. I have been picking out colours and deciding on accessories...a few of which I will share in due course!
The kitchen area already has cream tiles, so the majority of the walls will be cream to match with a feature wall at the back:
(The radiator is already back on the wall now)
I also have something planned for this part of the kitchen - but I don't want to giveaway too much at the moment!
I am looking forward to painting now so that we can move the furniture back and fix the larder to the wall - currently all of our cupboard food is in the conservatory for all to see!
This evening Steve went to visit his brother to watch the football, so I decided to finish my Document 2010 - October.
I used October's scrapagogo kit which I love! The colours are beautiful and I fell in love with the fabric flower and purple ribbon:
I also had another play around with the middle pages, I had completed one side at my crop on Monday but when I looked at it today it needed shuffling so that the second side didn't look over-crowded. Here are my completed pages:
I'm quite tired now so I think I'm off, I went to a children's adventure centre today with the children's centre and I think I am more tired than the children!!!!
I started scrapbooking in 2005 after I married my school sweetheart and my love of pretty paper has flourished. We have a Son, Adam and a Daughter, Emily and we all live in Kent in the UK. As well as scrapbooking, I like to make Felt things in my spare time.
I also run Bits of Stationery which keeps me busy!
