Photo of the week

Hello to any new readers from the blog hop *wave*

Now I know it's a day late but I took the night off last night for the blog hop, which was a success!!!!
BIG THANKS to Lizzie and Jo for organising it. Are we doing it again next year? ; )

Before I share my Photo of the week, I wanted to share some firework pics with you - now they are not fantastic as the fireworks were not not big noisy ones (which worked out well to ease Adam into them).

But I like the colours in these pics - not necessarily the patterns.... Anyway here goes:

Also I couldn't work out the right settings on my camera :( everything kept looking really yellow!!!!

My photo(s) of the week are actually related to the firework night - I chose two!

Apologies for the darkness here, The flash wasn't on! But we couldn't re-create it as Adam was too distracted by the fireworks (or 'lights!' as he kept shouting).

He really liked the fireworks!!!!!!

I'm trying to do a little catching up with True Stories at the moment, I have actually completed some of the prompts now - I just haven't blogged them!!!

Prompt 2 - Numbers

When I was thinking of things in numbers lots came to mind, Birthdays, anniversary's, daily schedules etc...But then I was thinking about the Halloween preparation and thought of this........

62 bags of sweets

30 Halloween lights

17 mini ghosts

10 scary orange nails

9 spooky trick or treaters

6 furry spiders

2 carved pumpkins

2 poorly children

1 Halloween!

Prompt 3
I loved prompt 3!!!!! We moved from numbers to alphabets and I had a go at coming up with a word for every letter of the alphabet - which is easier if they are random, but I went with a topic/theme which was

 'Family'

Adam

Brett

Collaboration

Daddy

Emily

Family

Grateful

Home

Inspiration

Journey

Kindness

Love

Mummy

Nurture

Observant

Parents

Quadruple

Rachel

Steve

Teamwork

Worthwhile

XXXX – Big kisses! (cheated slightly here!)

I am going to do a scrapbook page on this soon, I just love, love, love it!!!!

Clever ABC and use of numbers, good for you :-) And I'm so pleased Adam had a great time! The Girl is still terrified of fireworks, even now aged 8....
